Eric Hughes is an American mathematician, computer programmer, and cypherpunk. He is considered one of the founders of the cypherpunk movement, and, in 1993, wrote the legendary paper dubbed "A Cypherpunk's Manifesto" that offers insight into the beginnings of the decentralization movement that has brought us to where we are in the blockchain space today.
